Front End Loader Data Collection System
This application interfaced an Adroid Tablet with a Truck Scale Weighing System. The Android tablet was mounted in a front end loader. As the truck passed across the scale, the operator in the front end loader was able to weigh in and out the truck on the scale. The operator was able to quickly select entry data items such as Customer Number, Truck ID, etc... These were selected from dropdown boxes on the screen. The dropdown data was stored in tables on the tablet. When the weigh in and out transactions were completed, the completed transactions were stored to and Excel spreadsheet. A ticket was printed to the truck driver.
