KUKA ROBOTICS PROGRAMMING

Below are some video clips showing a robot system using a Kuka robot to tend a Plastics Injection Molding Machine.  The entire cell was assembled by Centennial Technologies in Saginaw MI.  Robot programming by BTO Controls.  Video #1 shows the robot tending the IMM to extract the molded plastic part after completed.  Video #2 shows the concept of loading parts into an IMM machine to get plastic molded around the parts.   These parts are automatically seperated and presented by a bowl feeder then loaded onto an SMC slide.

MITSUBISHI ROBOTICS PROGRAMMING

Here is a Mitsubishi Robotics system built and assembled by Centennial Technologies, BTO Controls assisting with programming and system integration.   This highly advanced cell utilized a flex feeder and a Cognex camera system to feed forward and present parts for a Scara Robot to pick.  The parts are then placed on a rotating table.  From there a 6 axis robot picks the group of parts off of the table and loads the Injection Molding Machine.   The Flex Feeder and Cognex camera concept eliminates the need for a bowl feeder and makes for running multiple parts on the same system with minimal changeover possible.
